There was some discussion why Mekhi let Cenzo up from cradle and Robie wanting to keep him down and perhaps Mekhi losing grip when shifting to try and get the pin. I noticed something subtle....Mekhi didn’t shift and Cenzos shoulder was clearly popped up. There was no real threat of a pin IMO. If you watch, after Cenzo fails to pry Mekhi’s hold apart, he then uses his right hand and pushes down on his own knee to get more power.....that is what finally breaks Mekhi’s cradle.

Also IMO if Cenzos late third period shot is in the second period I think he gets the TD. Because he was down by 4 points with 25 sec to go he is forced to drop to his knee and he was hoping to dead lift Mekhi and rotate him over for a 6 point move. We know how that ended...it was an all or nothing move that backfired.
